Agenda packets, minutes, reports, correspondence, memos, and subject files documenting the council's communications/telecommunications program, mainly in the areas of cable television and telecommunications. The cable television files deal with such topics as franchise ordinances, Citizens League, health data, and Minnesota Commission on Cable Communications rules; and include records of the Communications Advisory Committee, its predecessors, the Cable Television Advisory Committee and the Cable Communications Advisory Committee, and its Interconnection Subcommittee. The telecommunications files cover such topics as Channel 6, a 1984-1985 infrastructure study, and policy issues; and include the records of the Task Force on Regional Telecommunications.
